Helen Laverty
Helen Laverty MSc (Hull) RNLD Cert. Ed.
Helen qualified in 1982, and has been working in the learning Disability field ever since.
Helen is a nurse teacher/health lecturer working within the University of Nottingham out of the Lincoln Centre, and has been working in nurse education for 18 years. She has responsibility for the care delivery and management aspects of the programme.
Helen is married with one child, and says she is addicted to sunshine! "I am delighted to be part of POSITIVE CHOICES working with people who have a ld and student nurses has always been a positive choice for me, come on troops let's show the world what we can do!"
